This policy explains what data Optivox ("we") collects from you, how we use it, and the choices you have. Optivox is operated by Oscar Losseff. For any privacy question, email oscar@optivox.app.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, display name, and authentication identifiers (e.g. Google sign-in ID).
- Audio files you upload and the enhanced output files we produce for you.
- Usage data: credit balance, job history, processing options, file sizes, durations, timestamps, and job status.
- Payment data: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not see or store your card details.
- Email events: sends, bounces, and unsubscribes for the emails we send you.
How we use it
- To run your processing jobs and deliver the output.
- To manage your account, credits, and purchases.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, purchase receipts).
- To prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your audio files to train AI models.
How long we keep it
- Input audio files: deleted immediately after processing.
- Output audio files: kept for 7 days, then deleted.
- Job metadata (duration, status, timestamps): kept while your account is active.
- Account & billing records: kept while your account is active and for the period required by tax and accounting law after closure.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted processors to run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
- Auphonic — audio processing engine that enhances your files.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for the web app.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Each processor handles your data only as needed to provide their part of the Service.
International transfers
Our processors may store and process data outside your country, including in the United States and European Union. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

Security
We use industry-standard practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), encryption at rest in our hosting provider, scoped access keys, and row-level access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
